2009 Bethel Heights Pinot Blanc
This is one of the remaining few wines that we brought back from our honeymoon in 2010. Two years later, this wine still tastes fresh as ever.
A pinot blanc from fairly well-known winery in Oregon, I think this is the kind of white wine more people would be into if they ever had the opportunity to taste such a thing.
It’s rich and almost viscous, with flowers and tropical fruit and whatnot. The acidity keeps it balanced and from reading as “sweet,” though. Will be great with fish.
Another super wine from Oregon, and at about $15, a value to boot.
